Starting a new path in life

I have decided to start changing myself, my whole life has been nothing but a waste, but I'm deciding that I'm going to school & get my diploma, & move of my hometown & move to Redding, California, where I will have a better future, I'm to start to do more for the community & get more active in my faith & native american groups, I'm proud to make the change.

Reconnecting with God

So I was baptized Catholic, but never felt connected to my faith for the first 17 years of my life, I been having a terrible life, despite coming from a good-loving Catholic family, I thought that my life was better off without the Lord, but I realized that I needed him after a violent encounter with the Police, I'm turning 18 very soon, & I decided to start going to church as much as possible, I start confessing with the priest, trying to understand my faith, but sometimes I feel like I want to re-abandon my faith again, this is a sign from the devil, & I'm not going to let my relationship with god jeopardized again.

I'm currently listening to a catholic radio show, & the host was saying that many young people are not going to church, & life is not about myself, but living under the sun of god.

We are not perfect as Human beings, but with the help of God, we can change.
